Jorge A. Lopez is an of counsel attorney at Jorgensen & Salberg, LLP.  He is admitted to practice in all state courts in California, the United States District Court, Central District of California, and the United States Tax Court.

Mr. Lopez received his Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with emphases in Finance and Political Science from Chapman University. He made the Dean’s List every semester and graduated Magna Cum Laude.  Mr. Lopez received his Juris Doctorate from Chapman University School of Law and was awarded the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Land Use Regulation.

During law school, Mr. Lopez was certified by the California Supreme Court to practice law before California courts, and in his last year, was also admitted to practice and appear before the United States Tax Court.  Mr. Lopez graduated from Chapman with certifications in Taxation Law and Alternative Dispute Resolution.

While in undergraduate school and during law school, Mr. Lopez worked at Callahan & Blaine, APLC.  In 2003, he began working at Jorgensen & Salberg, LLP as a law clerk, focusing on law and motion matters.  When he passed the Bar Exam in 2008, he joined the firm as an of counsel attorney.

Mr. Lopez is also an avid baseball fan, having played on both the Tustin High School and Chapman University baseball teams. In his spare time, Mr. Lopez enjoys attending Dodgers games and scuba diving in different locales around the world.

Mr. Lopez is a member of the Orange County Bar Association, Orange County Trial Lawyers Association, Cuban American Bar Association, Hispanic Bar Association and the Warren J. Ferguson American Inns of Court.

Mr. Lopez’s practice areas are civil litigation and estate planning.

He is fluent in both spoken and written Spanish.
